Lawrence J. Risigio, PT, OMT
Larry is a 1985 graduate of the University of New England where he received the Erma C. Myer Award for clinical excellence. He completed a two year advanced Orthopaedic manual therapy residency program at the Institute of Manual Therapy in Woburn, MA in 2003.
Licensed in Maine, he has worked in the outpatient physical therapy field for 31 years. He has been an adjunct professor for UNE department of physical therapy since 1992 teaching gross anatomy and musculosketal systems, and has earned 2 adjunct faculty of the year awards. His primary interests are treating spinal disorders and functional rehabilitation. He is a co-founder of Saco Bay Physical Therapy.
Ryan Cyr, PT, OMT, FAAOMPT
Ryan Cyr received a master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England's College of Health Sciences in 2002. While receiving his degree, Mr. Cyr was also employed with Saco Bay Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy, PA providing supportive therapy services.
Ryan specializes in orthopaedic manual physical therapy. He has completed a 1-year residency program at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in Woburn, Massachusetts, and he has completed a 1-year fellowship program in December 2005. His focus is on advanced orthopaedic manual/manipulative physical therapy skills for management of spine and extremity disorders. He has been an adjunct faculty member for the Physical Therapy Department at the University of New England since 2006. He teaches spinal and extremity manipulation and mobilization at the University and his clinic serves as a clinical placement site for its students.
